Sex naked
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's
Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
You mentioned in one of your answers
that sex in the nude is allowed yet I read that " Total nudity during
coition has been prohibited in Islam. Rasulullah (Sallallahu-Alayhi-Wasallam)
has enlikened such an action to that of asses cohaviting in public.
The progeny of such a couple will
certainly turn out to be shameless and immoral."
I am very confused.
(There
may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum
does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from
our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)
Answer:
Sex naked
In the
name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3115 Narrated
by Abdullah ibn Umar
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Avoid being naked, for with
you are those (Angels) who never leave you, except when you are
relieving yourselves and when a man has intercourse with his wife; so observe
modesty before them and honour them."
The above
hadith of the Messenger of Allah (saws) clearly implies that it is permissible
to be naked on two occasions: when relieving oneself, and when one is
cohabiting with one’s wife.
There is
absolutely no purdah or veil between a husband and a wife in marriage, and
there is absolutely no prohibition in Islam for a married couple if they wish
to enjoy their conjugal relationship in the nude.
Your Statements: Rasulullah
(Sallallahu-Alayhi-Wasallam) has enlikened such an action to that of asses
cohaviting in public.
The progeny of such a couple will certainly turn
out to be shameless and immoral."
Beloved
brother in Islam, to the best of our knowledge, the above mentioned narrations
are not related in any of the authentic books of ahaadeeths of the Messenger of
Allah (saws). We would really
appreciate if you could give us the precise reference of the above two
quotations so that we may be able to study it and increase our knowledge.
One
should fear Allah Subhanah and be very careful when quoting something from the
Messenger of Allah (saws), and quote nothing but the absolute Truth; for he
(saws) was sent as a guide to all mankind and whatever he (saws) said and did
would be an example to all the believers until the end of time.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.106 Narrated
by Ali ibn Abi Taalib (r.a.)
The Prophet (saws) said, "Do not tell a lie against me, for
whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally), then he will surely enter the
Hell-fire."
Whatever
written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance,
and whatever of error is of me. Allah
Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in Islam,
Burhan
