Answer:

Wisdom behind marriage half of deen

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 30 Surah Rum verse 21: And of Allah’s Sign is that He has created for you wives from your own species, so that you may find peace with them, and (Allah has) created love and mercy between you. Surely in this there are many Signs for those who reflect.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 34: Men are the managers of the affairs of women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because men spend of their wealth on women. Virtuous women are , therefore, obedient (to their husbands); and they guard in his absence what Allah would have them guard (their honor, their property, etc.)

When one marries, one saves and legalizes for himself in one of the most powerful natural desire and attraction that Allah Subhanah has bestowed in the nature of man: sexual urge. Besides, this sacred bond of marriage puts in place a foundation for a society, whereby a family is created and the means to uphold and continue the future of mankind is established.

If the society chooses not to marry and establish a family, as is happening in the many so-called modern-educated but ignorant world today, the nucleus of the foundation of forming a righteous society is shaken from its very core! Neither the men nor the women choose to marry and establish a family, for the Shaytaan has made it fair-seeming for them to fulfill their natural sexual desires out of marriage. The chaos and trial this creates in society is laid bare to be witnessed by all mankind. Not only does it effect the man and the woman, but the effect it has on future generations is absolutely detrimental to society.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) so recognized and gave so much importance to this Sunnah of being united in the sacred bond of marriage, that he (saws) termed it half the deen.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.799 Narrated by Sahl bin Sad

The Prophet (saws) said, "Whoever guarantees me (the chastity of) what is between his legs (i.e. his private parts), and what is between his jaws (i.e., his tongue), I guarantee him Paradise."

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
