He paid zakaat al-fitr on behalf of the foetus then found out that it was twins

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
As-Salaamu-Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
My wife was pregnant during Ramadaan and I paid zakaat al-fitr on behalf of the foetus that was in his mother’s womb, but when the mother gave birth a few days after Eid al-Fitr, she gave birth to two twins by the will and decree of Allaah.
Do I have to do anything now, knowing that I gave zakaah on behalf of one foetus and I did not give anything on behalf of the other?.

Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.

You do not have to do anything because of not paying zakaat al-fitr on behalf of the second foetus.

And Allaah is the Source of strength.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah's Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
