Who performed Nikah of Adam AS and Hawa AS.

Was there any companion of Prophet by name Haaris who preferred to pray salah alone instead of in mosque?

Is Muhammad (SAW) created by Allah’s noor? In Mehraz, when he SAW met Allah, whom did he (SAW) saw or met?

These were few of the questions that have risen during discussion. I need your help in understand and also helping (myself) or my friends in finding right path.

Answer:

Was prophet(saws) made from noor

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: Was entire mankind was ordered by Allah to bow to Adam?

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Al-Kahf verse 50:

50 Behold! We Commanded the Angels "Bow down to Adam": they all bowed down except Iblees. He (Iblees) was one of the Jinns and he broke the Command of his Lord! Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrongdoers!

Prophet Adam (a.s.) was the very first human being created by the Lord Most Exalted……and at the time the Lord Most Majestic Commanded the Angels to bow to Adam, mankind (or the children of Adam) were not yet even born!

Your Question: Who performed Nikah of Adam AS and Hawa AS.

The Quran and the Sunnah are silent regarding the rite of ‘nikaah’ of the parents of all mankind, Prophet Adam (a.s.) and Hawwa…and my respected brother, whenever the Glorious Quran and the Sunnah are silent on a subject, it is not (and I take refuge in Allah from even stating this!) because Allah Subhanah or His Messenger (saws) forgot, but because that information is not necessary for one’s guidance to the Straight Path.

Thus Allah Subhanah Alone Knows ‘who’ exactly performed the ‘nikaah’ of Prophet Adam (a.s.) and his wife Hadrat Hawwa, or whether the rite of ‘nikaah’ was indeed performed or not.

Your Question: Was there any companion of Prophet by name Haaris who preferred to pray salah alone instead of in mosque?

The only people who preferred not to attend the obligatory prayers in congregation at the time of the Prophet (saws) were the hypocrites.

To the best of our knowledge, there is no evidence in the recorded history of a noble companion of the Prophet (saws) who preferred to offer his obligatory prayers alone in preference to offering them in congregation with the believers as Commanded and Guided by Allah and His Messenger (saws). And Allah Alone Knows Best.

Your Question: ….Is Muhammad (SAW) created by Allah’s noor?

Allah Subhanah clearly Declares in the Quran that He created the first human being of clay and created his progeny from a nature of fluid. Prophet Mohamed (saws) was, without an iota of a doubt, a ‘bashar’ (human being), and thus he (saws) was NOT created from ‘noor’ like the angels. There is absolutely no truth to the statement that the Noble Prophet Mohamed (saws) was created from ‘Noor’ or Light!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 32 Surah As-Sajdah verses 7-8:

7                    He Who has made everything which He has created most Good. He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay.

8                    And made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised.

Some people, in their excess, try to hold and spread such false beliefs that the Prophet (saws) was not created like the other human beings, and thus try to propagate that he (saws) was created like the Angels from ‘noor’ or light! Because they believe that if the Prophet (saws) was only a human being, then what would be the difference between him and other human beings? So, in their excess, they try to invent falsehoods and say things about the Prophet (saws) and his self which have absolutely no basis in reality! People who claim such falsehood, in their excess and their ignorance, try to belittle the noble Prophet (saws) by claiming he was created from ‘noor’! The greatness and significance of the Noble Prophet (saws) lies in the fact that he, like all the other human beings, was created from clay, possessed the nature of a human being, and was bestowed with a ‘free will’ to choose obedience or disobedience of the Lord like every human being; and the Noble Prophet (saws) chose to submit himself unconditionally to His Supreme Lord and Creator.

Had he (saws) been created from ‘noor’, he would have been an angel, who do not possess the nature of human beings, do not have to fight temptation like the humans, and do not possess a ‘free will’ to choose between obedience and disobedience! Greatness and magnificence is when one is bestowed with the weak nature of man, and this human being chooses to remain an obedient slave of his Lord and Creator!

Allah Subhanah has Himself commanded the Prophet (saws) to declare in the Glorious Quran, that he (saws) is no more than a ‘bashar’ (human being); the only difference being that he (saws) has been chosen as a Messenger of Allah, is directly inspired and guided by Allah Subhanah, and receives Revelations from the Lord of the Worlds.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 110:

Say (O Prophet) : "I am but a ‘bashar’ (human) like yourselves (but) the inspiration has come to me: that your Allah is one Allah: whoever expects to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness, and in the worship of his Lord admit no one as partner."

The greatness and significance of the Noble Prophet (saws) lies in the fact that he, like all the other human beings, was created from clay, possessed the nature of a human being, and was bestowed with a ‘free will’ to choose between obedience and disobedience like every human being; and the Noble Prophet (saws) chose to submit himself unconditionally to His Supreme Lord and Creator.

We assure you that there is absolutely nothing in the Quran or Sunnah which even implies that the Messenger of Allah (saws) was created from ‘Noor’; on the contrary the Glorious Quran clearly declares that the Prophet (saws) was no more than a ‘bashar’ (human being) like all human beings, and he (saws) received Revelations and Guidance from Allah Subhanah.

Your Question: …In Mehraz, when he SAWS met Allah, whom did he (SAW) saw or met?

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah Israa Verse 1:

1 Glory to (Allah) Who did take His Servant (Prophet Mohamed (saws)) for journey by night from the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah) to the Farthest Mosque (Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem) whose precincts We did Bless in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the one Who hears and see (all things).

As recorded in the authentic and established records of Sunnah, during the ‘night journey’ the Messenger of Allah (saws) led all the previous Prophets of Allah in prayer in the Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem.

It is also recorded in various authentic hadeeths, that after ascension towards the heavens with Hadrat Jibrael (a.s.), the Messenger of Allah (saws) met with Prophet Adam (a.s.) in the first heaven; Prophets Yahya (a.s.) and Isa ibn Maryam (a.s.) in the second heaven; Prophet Yusuf (a.s.) in the third heaven; Prophet Idris (a.s.) in the fourth heaven; Prophet Haroon (a.s.) in the fifth; Prophet Musa (a.s.) in the sixth; and Prophet Ibraheem (a.s.) in the seventh.

It is also recorded that the Prophet (saws) was shown various segments of Hell Fire and its inhabitants during this period of ascension.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
