Answer:

Fulfill vow nadhar to build mosque

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 76 Surah Dhahr verses 5-12:

5 As to the Righteous they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur

6 A Fountain where the Devotees of Allah do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance.

7 They perform (or fulfill their) ‘nazar’ (vows) and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide.

8 And they feed for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive

9 (saying): "We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: No reward do we desire from you nor thanks.

10 We only fear a Day of distressful Wrath from the side of our Lord."

11 But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day and will shed over them a light of Beauty and a (Blissful) Joy.

12 And because they were patient and constant, He will reward them with a Garden and (garments of) silk.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 235 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said that Allah Subhanah Says: ‘When it occurs to My bondsman that he should do a good deed but he actually does not do it, I record one good deed for him, but if he puts it into practice, I make an entry of ten good acts in his favour. When it occurs to him to do evil, but he does not commit it, I forgive that. But if he commits it, I record one evil deed against his name.’ The Messenger of Allah (saws) said the Angels said: ‘That bondsman of yours intends to commit evil, though His Lord is more Vigilant than he!’ Upon this He (the Lord) said: ‘Watch him; if he commits (evil), write it against his name, but if he refrains from doing it, write one good deed for him, for he desisted from doing it for My sake.’ The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: ‘He who amongst you is of good faith, all his good acts are multiplied from ten to seven hundred times (and are recorded in his name) and all the evils that he commits are recorded as such (i.e. without increase) until he meets Allah.’

Respected brother in Islam, if you have made a solemn intention or vowed to build a ‘masjid’ only for the Sake and Pleasure of Allah Subahnah; rest assured that a credit for building a House of Allah on this earth has already been recorded in your Book of Records by the Lord Most Merciful, Most Gracious. If you do indeed fulfill your noble intention, you will have a reward of building ten ‘masjids’ in the Presence of your Lord, Insha Allah.

Your Question: But now i have some expenses in my family, is it permissible that if i take some money from that sold land for my own purposeses and later put that money back for masjid construction? pls advice is this permissable or not.

If due to unavoidable circumstances you are forced to temporarily borrow some money which you have set aside to fulfill your intention to build a House of Allah on this earth, and you intend to repay that amount back and build the ‘masjid’….there is absolutely no harm.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
