DEAR BROTHER BURHAN

MANY THANKS FOR UR KIND & QUICK REPLY, STILL BROTHER I NEEDS CLEAR REPLY THAT ONE TIME IN YANBU (KSA) ONE SCHOLAR TOLD ME IN DAWA DARAS THAT RASHED IS NOT THE NAME OF ALLAH, AND U MENTIONED HERE RASHED IS THE NAME OF ALLAH, AND ALSO IN THE ATTACHMENT (BELOW IN RECTANGLE BOX) IS MENTIONED THAT ALLAH DERIVED FROM LLAH... FROM THE ROOT OF LAH LAH, WHAT DOES IT MEANS???, PLEASE BROTHER REPLY ALSO TRY TO REPLY MY PREVIOUS QUESTION, I KNOW U R TAKING YOUR IMPORTANT TIME TO GIVE REPLY,

THANKS JAZAKALLAHUKHAIRAN –

ALLAH :

The name Allah is derived from LLAH which itself is derived from the root “Lah Lah” is an expressive of wonder.

Allah is the proper name for the creator of the Universe about whom we can express nothing except wonder.

YA ALLAH: Recite 1000 times daily for strengthening of faith, reciting it 200 times before Juma prayer helps erase difficulties. Reciting it to a patient will help him recover unless the time of death has come.

Answer:

Is Rashid one of the names of Allah?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: THAT ONE TIME IN YANBU (KSA) ONE SCHOLAR TOLD ME IN DAWA DARAS THAT RASHED IS NOT THE NAME OF ALLAH, AND U MENTIONED HERE RASHED IS THE NAME OF ALLAH,

Ar-Rasheed (The Guide to the Straight Path) is indeed an Attribute and Name amongst the Beautiful Names of Allah Subhanah.

Maybe the scholar was referring to the name Raashid (one who walks on the Straight Path), which is used for human beings and not an Attribute of Allah Subhanah.

Your Question: ALSO IN THE ATTACHMENT (BELOW IN RECTANGLE BOX) IS MENTIONED THAT ALLAH DERIVED FROM LLAH... FROM THE ROOT OF LAH LAH, WHAT DOES IT MEANS???,

The term Allah is derived from the term ‘ILAAH’ which means god; thus AL-LAH means The (One and Only) God, which is none other than Allah Subhanah wa Taala.

‘Lah-Lah’ is not a root word in the Arabic language, and it is the first time I am reading from the text you quoted that it means ‘wonder’ in the Arabic language!

The Statement: YA ALLAH: Recite 1000 times daily for strengthening of faith, reciting it 200 times before Juma prayer helps erase difficulties. Reciting it to a patient will help him recover unless the time of death has come.

Although you have not asked this specific question, it is our duty to inform you that the above statement whereby if one recites 1,000 times the term “Ya-Allah”, it will strengthen his faith; or reciting it 200 times before Jumuaa prayers will erase difficulties, or reciting it to a patient will help him recover; is definitely not from the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws)!

One may call upon the Merciful Lord as many times as one wills, and the Messenger of Allah (saws) used to invoke Allah Subhanah for help and guidance in everything he (saws) did. But never ever did he mention the above numbers, nor did he at any time number the times he said ‘Ya-Allah’ and described its benefits. And if the Messenger of Allah (saws) did not describe its benefits, nor did he give a specific number to invoke the name ‘Ya-Allah’; it would not behove a believer, who truly believes in Allah and His Messenger (saws), to invent a number and invent its benefits by himself!

No man who ever walked on this planet earth worshipped Allah Subhanah better than the Messenger of Allah (saws), and Allah Subhanah has commanded the believers to make His Last Messenger (saws) as our example in all our deeds, especially all rites and deeds of worship.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzab verse 21:There is indeed the best example for you (believers) to follow, in the Messenger of Allah, for every such person looks forward to Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah much.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
