Answer:

Islam reach kerala during prophet(saws) time

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 54 Surah Qamar verse 1:

1 The hour (of Judgment) is nigh and the moon is cleft asunder.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4.830 Narrated by Abdullah bin Masud

During the lifetime of the Prophet (saws) the moon was split into two parts and on that the Prophet (saws) said, "Bear witness (to this miracle of Allah)."

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 5.208 Narrated by Anas bin Malik

The people of Makkah asked Allah's Messenger (saws) to show them a miracle. So he (saws) showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the ‘Hiram' mountain.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.387 Narrated by Ibn Masud

During the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (saws) the moon was split into two parts; one part remained over the mountain, and the other part went beyond the mountain. On that, Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Witness this miracle (of Allah)."

That the moon was split by Allah Subhanah as a miracle in the lifetime of the Prophet (saws) is indeed proven by the Glorious Quran and by several authentic narrations from the Prophet (saws).

Although the above quoted incident regarding the acceptance of Islam of the king from the state of Kerala in India is often quoted, to the best of our knowledge there is absolutely no mention of the specific events regarding the king in any of the authentic books of ‘Hadith’ or the ‘Seerah’….Allah Subhanah Alone Knows Best regarding its authenticity and/or its occurrence.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
