Answer:

Revert from hindu to Islam

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: my name is gouri. what is the meaning of my name.

To the best of our knowledge, the term and name ‘Gouri’ means one who is fair complexioned.

Your Question: can u guide me pls coz i want to change my religion n make myself a muslim

The six fundamental articles of faith in the religion of Islam are:

  1. Belief in the Absolute Oneness of the One and Only Lord Creator and Sustainer of everything in existence, Allah Subhanah.
  2. Belief in all the appointed Prophets of Allah Subhanah, and the appointment of Prophet Mohamed (saws) as the Last and Final Prophet of Allah.
  3. Belief in all the Revelations of Allah Subhanah, and the Glorious Quran as the Last and Final Revelation of the Lord.
  4. Belief in all the Angels of Allah Subhanah.
  5. Belief in the concept of the life Hereafter: the Day of Judgment, Paradise and the Hell Fire.
  6. Belief in the ‘Qadr’ or the Divine Decrees of Allah Subhanah.

Respected Sister, if your heart is absolutely convinced regarding the above six fundamental articles of faith, you will be considered a ‘muslim’ in the Sight of your Lord Creator.

For one to be considered a ‘muslim’ in the Sight of Shariah Law and of the believers, all one has to do is verbally declare the ‘shahaadah’ or the testimony of faith:

‘Ash hado anna laa ilaaha illalaah, wa ash hado anna Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah.’

(Translation: ‘I bear witness there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah Alone, and I bear witness that Mohamed (saws) is the Messenger of Allah.)

If any individual, absolutely regardless of their past belief or faith, race, color, nationality, gender, etc. declares the above statement or testimony of faith, they will immediately enter into the fold of ‘Islam’ and be considered a ‘muslim’ in the Sight of Shariah Law and the believers; and every single right that is due to a ‘muslim’ will be accorded to them in full.

My dear and respected sister, if you require any help or guidance on how to perform the basic rites of worship and how to live your life as a ‘muslim’, it would be best if you could contact an ‘Islamic Guidance Centre’ or any righteous and pious muslim sister in any mosque in your area….we absolutely assure you that they would welcome you with open arms and help and guide you in your chosen path of Islam, Insha Allah.

If there is anything at all we can do to help you in your chosen path, we would consider it at honor to have been given this opportunity to serve in the Cause of the Lord Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Your brothers and sincere well-wishers…..

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
