Answer:

Revert announce and circumcission

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: Is it compulsory to inform his family members that he had accepted islam.

Acceptance to the faith of ‘Islam’ is the condition of one’s heart, and a matter strictly between an individual and their Lord Creator; and there is absolutely no obligation or requirement for one who wishes to revert to Islam to publicly announce their reversion, or even announce it to their family, etc…..if one fears harm or does not wish to do so.

Your Question: i want to know if someone accepted islam the person should do the kathna,

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.777 Narrated by Abu Huraira

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Five practices are characteristics of the ‘Fitra’ (nature): shaving the pubic region, removing the hair under the arms, clipping the nails, and circumcision and cutting the moustaches short (for men)."

Circumcision is not considered an obligatory duty in Islam, but rather a voluntary act and a preferred Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws); thus if one reverts to Islam at an advanced age and chooses to perform circumcision, it would be best and closest to the Sunnah; but if for any reason one chooses not to perform circumcision, there would be no blame or sin upon him.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
