Dream from 5 years

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 9.168 Narrated by Abu Salama

I used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard Abu Qatada saying, "I too, used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard the Prophet (saws) saying, "A good dream is from Allah, so if anyone of you saw a dream which he liked, he should not tell it to anybody except to the one whom he loves; and if he saw a dream which he disliked, then he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and from the evil of Satan, and spit three times (on his left) and should not tell it to anybody, for it will not harm him."

When one sees a dream wherein one sees some evil, he should immediately say “Aoodobillahe minas Shaitaan ar-rajeem”, spit three times on his left, and not let the dream bother him in the least for, Insha Allah, Allah Subhanah will protect the person from all evil.

If one makes it a habit before sleeping to recite the ‘Aayat-ul-Kursi’ (2:255), Surah Al-Falaq (Surah 113) and Surah An-Naas (Surah 114), and seeks the refuge of Allah Subhanah; Allah Subhanah will Insha Allah protect him from all evil.

The Prophet (saws) once advised his daughter, Fatimah (r.a.) , "Say ‘Subhan-Allah’ thirty three times, ‘Al-hamdu-lillah”, thirty three times, and ‘Allahu Akbar’, thirty four times." He also commended the recitation of Ayatal-Kursi, the verse of the Throne, Qur'an 2.255 along with the above supplications, and said that one who does so will be under the protection of Allah, Who will assign a protector to protect him. And every night when he (saws) retired to bed he would hold out his hands together imploringly and blow over them after reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas, and then rub his hands over whichever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face, and front of his body. He used to do that three times.

If even after this, the evil dreams still persists, pay absolutely no attention or give any importance to them; and be assured in the faith that absolutely everything is in the Control of the All-Mighty Lord. The believers, who sincerely believe in Allah and the Last Day, should fear no one except Allah Subhanah.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
