Answer:

Mark of righteous women

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Dear and beloved brother in Islam, first and foremost it is not true that every ‘saleh’ or good righteous person has a mark of prostration on their forehead! The skin of some people is soft and light, and it is possible that their prostrations leave a mark on their skins; and some people are bestowed with thick or dark skins, and it is possible that their constant and lengthy prostrations do not leave marks on their skins.

Also, it may be that one may have marks of prostrations on one’s forehead, but he may not necessary be a righteous person in the Sight of Allah; and it is also possible that one may not have marks of prostrations on his forehead, but he may be an extremely pious and righteous person in the Sight of the All-Knowing, All-Wise Lord.

Beloved brother in Islam, Allah Subhanah Alone is the Judge Supreme Who will determine who was pious and who was wicked in His Majestic Presence on the Day of Judgment in the Hereafter.

Thus in conclusion brother, piety and righteousness is not recognized in Islam by a physical mark on one’s skin; but the piety and righteousness of the believing man and the believing woman is recognized through their character, their deeds, and their fair and just dealings with their fellow human beings; and above all through their ‘taqwa’ or God-consciousness.

Allah says in the Holy Quran: Chapter 49 Surah Hujurat verse 13:

O mankind, We created you from one man and one woman, and then divided you into nations and tribes so that you may recognize one another. Indeed, the most honorable amongst you in the Sight of Allah is he who has the most ‘taqwa’ amongst you! Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Your Question: what is the sign of good woman?

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 34:

34 Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has given the one more than the other, and because they (the men) support them (their women) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allah and to their husbands), and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard (their chastity, their honor, their husband’s honor, their husband’s property, etc.)

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3272 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

When Allah's Messenger (saws) was asked which woman was best, he (saws) replied, "The one who pleases (her husband) when he looks at her, obeys him when he gives a (lawful) command, and does not go against his (lawful) wishes regarding her person or property by doing anything of which he disapproves."

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
