Answer:

Dua for prosperity

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 186:

And if My servants ask you, O Prophet, concerning Me, tell them that I am quite near to them. I hear and answer the prayer of the suppliant, when he calls on Me. So let them respond to My call and believe in Me. (Convey this to them), perhaps they may be guided aright!

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2257 Narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri

The Prophet (saws) said, "Any Muslim who makes a supplication containing nothing which is sinful, or which involves breaking ties of relationship, will be given for it by Allah one of three things: He will give him swift answer, or store it up for him in the next world, or turn away from him an equivalent amount of evil." Those who heard it said they would then make many supplications and he (saws) replied that Allah was more ready to answer than they were to ask!

Salman reported that the Prophet (saws), said, "Your Lord, the Blessed and the Exalted One, is Modest and Generous, and He loathes to turn away His servant empty-handed when he raises his hands to Him in supplication."

Narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Hibban.

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (saws) said, "Your supplication will be answered if you are not impatient, and if you do not say, 'I supplicated but my supplication was not heard'."

Narrated by Malik.

Your Question: tell me some dua as to get prosperity in business

Below listed a few supplications from the Quran and Sunnah for increase in one’s sustenance:

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chatper 2 Surah Baqarah verses 200-202:

200 There are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!" but they will have no portion in the hereafter.

201 And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and defend us from the torment on the fire!"

202 To these will be allotted what they have earned and Allah is quick in account.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 28 Surah Qasas verse 24:

24 …. then he (Musa (a.s.)) turned back to the shade and said: "O my Lord! Truly am I in (desperate) need of any good that Thou dost send me!"

Ali related that a slave, who had agreed on terms of his freedom with his master, came to him and said, "I cannot pay my master as I agreed in the terms of freedom, so help me." Ali said to him, "Let me teach you the supplication that the Prophet (saws) taught me. If you say it, Allah will cause your debt to be paid even if it be as great as a mountain. Say, 'O Allah, make Your lawful bounties sufficient for me so as to save me from what is unlawful, and from Your grace grant me sufficient abundance to make me free from the need of all except You'." Related by Tirmidhi.

Al-Muwatta Hadith 49.34 (part)

Yahya related from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa the he heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) supplicate thus: ‘O Allah! Bless us in what You have provided us with and protect us from the punishment of the Fire!"

Dear and beloved sister in Islam, beseech and implore your Lord Most Bounteous as often as you please or is easy for you to provide you with and increase your sustenance in this world; but it would be prudent to also beseech Him in all humility, fear, and hope to give you success in the eternal life of the Hereafter.

Beloved sister, in addition to the above supplications, if one wishes that their Lord Most Bounteous grant them abundance and increase in their sustenance, the Messenger of Allah (saws) recommended and encouraged the believers to do two types of deeds:

  1. Increase the giving of ‘sadaqah’, alms, and charity to the poor and the needy (starting with one’s poor and needy kith and kin)
  2. Develop and keep extremely good relations with one’s blood-relatives, kith and kin.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.15 Narrated by Anas bin Malik

Allah 's Messenger (saws) said, "Whoever loves that he be granted more wealth and that his lease of life be prolonged, then he should keep (extremely) good relations with his kith and kin."

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
