Answer:

Hadith qudsi 20 &23

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Hadith Qudsi 20

The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays, and every servant [of Allah] who associates nothing with Allah will be forgiven, except for the man who has a grudge against his brother. [About them] it will be said: ‘Delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled.’

Your Question: does the brother mean a muslim? or the real brother?

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 49 Surah Hujuraat verse 10:

10 The believers are but brothers to one-another: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers: And fear Allah that ye may receive Mercy.

The term ‘brothers’ in the hadith implies to all who believe in Allah and the Last Day, male and female; and thus include one’s real brothers and sisters.

Your Question: is it true that sins are forgiven when anybody associated nothing with ALLAH(SAWT)?.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verses 53-54:

(O Prophet) say: “O My servants who have wronged their own souls….Do not despair of Allah’s Mercy! Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He indeed is the All Forgiving, All Merciful. Return to your Lord and submit to Him before the scourge overtakes you; for then you may get no help from anywhere.”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 135-136:

Allah likes such good people very much, who, if ever they commit a base deed or wrong their own soul by the commission of a sin, remember Allah instantly, and ask for forgiveness from Him for their shortcomings. For who, but Allah, can forgive sins? (And Allah loves those) who do not knowingly persist in the wrongs they did. These will be rewarded with forgiveness from Allah, and with Gardens beneath which canals flow, and they will reside therein forever! How excellent is the reward of those who do good deeds!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 54:

When those come to you who believe in Our Signs, say: "Peace be on you! Your Lord had inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. Verily if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented and amended (his conduct), Lo! He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Dear and beloved brother, in light of the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, the condition of getting a major sin forgiven is to turn back to Allah Subhanah in sincere Taubah and repentance; for that alone is the process to get the major sins forgiven by the Lord Most Merciful.

Whenever the Messenger of Allah (saws) gave the good news of a deed or deeds which would get past sins forgiven, they always imply towards the ‘minor’ sins.

6) in hadith qudsi (hadith no 23) what does this hadith means?please i request you to explain this ?

Hadith Qudsi 23

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said that Allah, High and Exalted is He, will Say on the Day of Judgment: ‘Where are those who love one another through My glory? Today I shall give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My shade.’

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.629 Narrated by Abu Huraira

The Prophet (saws) said, "Allah will give shade, to seven (kinds of people) on the Day when there will be no shade but His. (These seven persons are)

1. a just ruler,

2. a youth who has been brought up in the worship of Allah (i.e. worships Allah sincerely from childhood),

3. a man whose heart is attached to the mosques (i.e. to pray the compulsory prayers in the mosque in congregation),

4. two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's Cause only,

5. a man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illicit intercourse with her and says: ‘I am afraid of Allah’,

6. a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in charity),

7. and a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes are then flooded with tears."

As with all of the above listed seven categories of fortunate people, a call will be made for them to assemble and these fortunate people alone will be amongst those who will protected by the Shade of Allah Subhanah on that Tumultuous Day of Judgment when the sun and its unbearable heat will be over the heads of all others!

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.553 Narrated by Abdullah bin Umar

The Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will come near (to the people) to such an extent that their sweat will reach up to the middle of the ears!”

Amongst those fortunate people who will be protected from the sun by the Shade of Allah will be two believers who loved each other, not for any worldly or material reason, but rather only for the Sake and Glory of Allah Subhanah in their life gone by. In their worldly life, when they met, they met to further Allah’s Deen and Cause; and when they separated, they separated to further Allah’s Deen and Cause. Because the only reason they loved each other was for the Sake and Glory of Allah Subhanah, such pairs of brothers and friends will be honored and rewarded for their intentions and their deeds, and invited to be amongst those blessed and fortunate people who will be protected from the torture of that Tumultuous Day of Judgment, the duration of which will be 50,000 years!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
