My question is that can we have sex before Rukhsati even if the Nikaah is done an year ago.

Answer:

Sex after Niskah

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Dear and Beloved Brother, once the nikaah is performed between a couple, they would be considered legally married in the sight of Allah Subhanah, in the sight of Shariah, and in the sight of the believers. The couple are absolutely free and legal to enjoy each others company including full sexual intercourse, if and whenever they wish to do so.

The rite of ‘nikaah’ (marriage) olone has a legal basis in Islam, unlike the ‘Mangni’ (engagement) or rukhsati (the day the woman actually leaves her parents house to permanently live with her husband), etc. which are no more than processes and rituals of marriage which have absolutely no legal basis in Islam.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
