Urdu website translation

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Dear Burhan Bhai,

Salaam Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Indeed it is a great pleasure to visit this website and to imagine the great amount of hard work and devotion that has gone into making it one of the best things that has happened to the Internet and the literate Muslim population of this world.

With a brief knowledge about you, I really admire your efforts and pray to Allah to increase his blessing many folds on you and your endevours. May Allah also give me couple of ounces of this initiative to spread the Glorious Islam.

I dont know if this question has been put to you earlier. I was wondering about the reach of this website to the Urdu speaking population in India and Pakistan. Certainly it would be very beneficial to have islamhelpline.com translated in Urdu so people with limited English knowledge can be guided by the information in their mother tongue.

I am sure you may have the resources who can do justice to translate this website exactly in Urdu, or probably there could be a search done for the best possible resource who can manage this translation. I look forward to your feedback on this idea.

Secondly, there are a lot of Urdu publications on Islam that are being circulated in India although scattered in their reach. I was wondering if the questions can be published periodically in them for the benefit of those who do not have Internet.

JazakAllah Khair

Urdu website translation

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

May Allah Subhanah reward you with the best of this world and the Hereafter for your kind comments of encouragement for our humble efforts in the propagation of the Truth. If our humble and modest efforts have helped even one brother or sister get closer to Allah and His Deen of Truth, then we would consider ourselves indeed fortunate to have been given this opportunity by the Lord Most Merciful to serve in His Cause. We hope, beg, and pray the Merciful Lord accepts our humble and weak efforts, forgives us our shortcomings, and saves you, us, and all the believers from the torment of the Hell Fire. Ameen.

Your Statement: I was wondering about the reach of this website to the Urdu speaking population in India and Pakistan. Certainly it would be very beneficial to have islamhelpline.com translated in Urdu so people with limited English knowledge can be guided by the information in their mother tongue.
Beloved and dear Brother in Islam, we are indeed honored by your suggestion, and indeed it would be a great service to Islam if we or any of our brothers could accomplish this noble mission of propagating the Deen from the Quran and Sunnah to our urdu speaking brethren from the sub-continent.

Your Statement: I am sure you may have the resources who can do justice to translate this website exactly in Urdu, or probably there could be a search done for the best possible resource who can manage this translation. I look forward to your feedback on this idea.
My beloved and dear Brother in Islam, if truth be told, with our humble resources and manpower, we are barely able to do justice to the number of questions we receive on this forum in the English language. At any given time, and in spite of our best efforts, there are literally hundreds of unanswered questions outstanding to be answered. The brothers and sisters who moderate and formulate this forum are all working brothers, who in their spare time available spend their humble efforts in this Cause of Allah Subhanah. In our current situation, we feel that it would be almost impossible for us to take on this massive responsibility of trying to propagate the answers in two languages at the same time.

Your suggestion of making available a sister-site in the urdu language is indeed a brilliant idea; for the more people have access to this information of Truth from the Quran and Sunnah, the more the chances of one more soul coming close to the Merciful Lord and His Deen of Islam. We will definitely take this noble and valuable suggestion to the Board, and if Allah Wills and Helps us, we shall strive to bring your suggestion to fruitation, Insha Allah.

Your Statement: Secondly, there are a lot of Urdu publications on Islam that are being circulated in India although scattered in their reach. I was wondering if the questions can be published periodically in them for the benefit of those who do not have Internet.
The truth is that most of the available Islamic literature is either done in the Arabic or the Urdu language; as Allah Subhanah has blessed the people of these lands with abundant and great scholars in time. With the advent of the internet, Allah Subhanah blessed us with the opportunity to propagate the Truth from the Quran and Sunnah to the houses of the brothers and sisters who were conversant with the English language.

We have absolutely no copyright issues, and if any brother or sister is willing to spend his/her time and effort in formulating the questions and answers in the urdu language for the benefit of our urdu speaking brethren; they shall have their reward from the Lord Most Merciful. If there is anything we can do to expedite and advance this course, we would indeed consider it our honor and pleasure to serve in this noble Cause of Allah Subhanah.

My beloved and dear Brother in Islam, may Allah Subhanah reward you with the best in this world and the Hereafter for your noble intentions in helping to propagate this beautiful deen of Islam to all who are willing to listen to good caution from the Quran and Sunnah. May Allah Subhanah accept yours and our humble efforts, forgive us our shortcomings, and save you, us, and all the believers from the torment of the Hell Fire on that Inevitable Day. Ameen.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
