Answer:

What is paradise Firdaus?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 23 Surah Muminoon verses 1-11:

1 The Believers must (eventually) win through

2 Those who humble themselves in their prayers;

3 Who avoid vain talk;

4 Who are active in deeds of charity;

5 Who abstain from sex

6 Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess, for (in their case) they are free from blame

7 But those whose desires exceed those limits, are transgressors,

8 Those who faithfully observe their trust and their covenants;

9 And those who (strictly) guard their prayers

10 Those will be the heirs

11 Who will inherit Al-Firdaus: they will dwell therein (forever).

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 9.519 Narrated by Abu Huraira

The Prophet (saws) said, "Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger (saws), offers prayers perfectly and fasts (the month of) Ramadan; then it is incumbent upon Allah to admit him into Paradise, whether he emigrates for Allah's cause or stays in the land where he was born." They (the companions of the Prophet (saws)) said, "O Allah's Messenger (saws)! Should we not inform the people of that?" He (saws) said, "There are one-hundred degrees in Paradise, which Allah has prepared for those who carry on Jihad in His Cause. The distance between every two degrees is like the distance between the sky and the earth, so if you ask Allah for anything, ask Him for Al-Firdaus, for it is the last part of Paradise and the highest part of Paradise, and at its top there is the Throne of the Beneficent, and from it gush forth the rivers of Paradise."

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.572 Narrated by Anas

Um (the mother of) Haritha came to Allah's Messenger (saws) after her son Haritha had been martyred on the Day (of the battle) of Badr by an arrow thrown by an unknown person. She said, "O Messenger of Allah (saws)! You know the position of Haritha in my heart (i.e. how dear to me he was), so if he is in Paradise, I will not weep for him, or otherwise, you will see what I will do." The Prophet (saws) said, "Are you mad? Is there only one Paradise? There are many Paradises, and he is in the highest Paradise of Al-Firdaus." The Prophet added, "A forenoon journey or an afternoon journey in Allah's Cause is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and a place equal to an arrow bow of anyone of you, or a place equal to a foot in Paradise is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and if one of the women of Paradise looked at the earth, she would fill the whole space between them (the earth and the heaven) with light, and would fill whatever is in between them with perfume, and the veil of her face is better than the whole world and whatever is in it."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 32 Surah Sajdah verses 15-17:

15 Only those believe in Our Signs; who, when they are recited to them fall down in adoration and celebrate the Praises of their Lord, nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride.

16 Their limbs do forsake their beds of sleep, the while they call on their Lord in Fear and Hope: and they spend (in charity) out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on them.

17 Now, no person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden (in reserve) for them as a reward for their (good) Deeds.

It is beyond human comprehension to even imagine the blessings, bounties, mercies, and rewards which Allah Subhanah has reserved for His righteous slaves in the Eternal Gardens of Bliss called ‘Jannah’.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.303 Narrated by Abu Huraira

The Prophet (saws) said, "Allah, The High and Exalted He is, said, 'I have prepared for My pious worshipers such things as no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and nobody has ever thought (or imagined) of. All that is reserved, besides which, all that you have seen, is nothing." Then he recited: “no person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden (in reserve) for them, as a reward for their (good) Deeds.” (32.17)

And when we cannot even imagine the endless and eternal bounties of the normal ‘Jannahs’, how can we human beings even begin to imagine the mercies and rewards of the place which the Messenger of Allah (saws) describes as: “the last part of Paradise, the highest part of Paradise, and at its top there is the Throne of The Beneficent, and from it gush forth the rivers of Paradise", which is named ‘Al-Firdaus’.!

We can only, in absolute humility and in fear, beg and implore the Merciful Lord to give you and us the ‘tawfeeq’ to do deeds that are Pleasing to Him; and with absolute and total humility beg The Merciful and Bounties Lord to make us, from His Endless Mercies, the fortunate inhabitants of the Gardens of Al-Firdaus. Ameen.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother in Islam,

Burhan
