Answer:

How did Adam and Hawwa marry ?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: I want to know were Hazrat Adam and Huwa married......i mean did they have proper nikah if so then who were the witness ......if not then why not.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 1 (part):O mankind! Fear your Lord, Who created you of a single soul (Adam (a.s.), and of the same created his mate (Hawwa), and from that pair spread countless men and women over the earth.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.114 Narrated by Abu Huraira

The Prophet(saws) said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not hurt (trouble) his neighbor. And I advise you to take care of the women, for they are created from a rib and the most crooked portion of the rib is its upper part; if you try to straighten it, it will break, and if you leave it, it will remain crooked, so I urge you to take care of the women."

Firstly, one must understand that it is not as if Hadrat Adam (a.s.) proposed to Hadrat Hawwa and she accepted his proposal for marriage! Allah Subhanah created Hadrat Adam (a.s.) and from his upper part of his rib, created his mate and wife, Hadrat Hawwa. Thus Hadrat Hawwa was at her creation created by the All Knowing, All Wise Lord as the wife of Hadrat Adam (a.s.) in the heavens, even before they were sent down to earth.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 35:We said: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and eat of the bountiful things therein as (where and when) ye will but approach not this tree or ye run into harm and transgression."

Although the deen or religion since the first man of earth is one and the same; Allah Subhanah has revealed different laws for the governing of the social and civil life of man according to the times and ages. Thus it is not necessary that the Shariah laws of Nikaah: proposal and acceptance, the determination of ‘mehr’, the condition of at least two witnesseses, etc. that apply in the Shariah or Law revealed to Prophet Mohamed (saws), applies to all the generations before him.

Allah Subhanah Himself created Hadrat Hawwa as the wife of Prophet Adam (a.s.), and Allah Subhanah Alone suffices as a witness to His creations.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
