I have a couple of questions :

6)I have named my son Adam someone told me we are not allowed to call our son adam cause it was the first man on earth is this true? (pending to answer)

Answer:

Can one name child Adam?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

The name Adam was chosen by Allah Subhanah for the first man and Prophet; and is indeed a beautiful and valid name for the believers. The names which are prohibited for the believers are the specific names of Allah Subhanah Himself like Allah, Ar-Rahmaan, Al-Jabbaar, Al-Khaaliq, etc.; or names which have connotations of shirk or disbelief (Ram, Laxman, Abdul-Laat, Abdul-Uzza, etc.); or names which have evil meanings or are considered bad-words, etc.

Any name which portrays mans subjugation to Allah Subhanah (like Abdur-Rahmaan, Abdul-Jabbaar, etc.), or any of the names of the Noble Prophets of Allah (Adam, Nuh, Ibraheem, Yunus, Yusuf, etc.), or any of the names of the noble Companions of the Prophet (saws), or any name with good meanings are absolutely valid and legal for the believers.
