Prophets (saws) used to combine the five prayers into 3 prayers

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Since Bid'a is innovation according to you, and since you have agreed yourself that Rasulallah used to combine the five prayers into one three, let me tell you that that the Bohras are not making up something new, as the Prophet SA, like you said offered the 5 fard at 3 times. Its not Bid'a (Some innovation). And if you believe You understand the Quran the timings of these prayers are given in it, the Bohras are not my any means praying at the wrong time. Another word, if you are cursing the people who divide the Ummat of Rasulallah then I am afraid to tell you to be aware of this fact yourself. Since you are cursing the bohras, as I presume from your writting, and since you want to help the  muslimeen, then why hide behind the mask of dawoodibohrahelpline.com? I and any one who has aquintance with bohras (even non-muslims) recognize the fact that a dawoodibohra is the follower of Syedna ???????? And

I think naming your company dawoodibohrahelpline.com shows that you yourself are dividing Rasulallah's Ummat.

Some Bid'a you talk about!!!!!!!!!! And some guidance you give to the astray, HUH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Answer:

Prophets (saws) used to combine the five prayers into 3 prayers

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah is our witness, we have never ever claimed that we belong to any sect, nor have we ever claimed that Sunni-ism, Shia-ism, or any other ‘ism’ is right! We only invite our brothers to follow the clear commands of the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Messenger of Allah (saws), and invite our brothers to become muslims, as commanded by Allah in the Holy Quran. Our mission is to help unite this broken ummah to become one ummah, and fear and worship the One Lord Alone.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 23 Surah Mu’minoon verse 52-54:And you all belong to one and the same ummah, and I (Allah) am your Lord; so fear Me Alone! Yet afterwards the people divided themselves into different sects, and each sect rejoicing in what it has. Well, leave them deeply involved in their heedlessness up to an appointed time.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 49 Surah Hujaraat verses 10:The believers are the brothers of one another; so set the relations right between your brethren and fear Allah. It is expected that you will be shown Mercy.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 12 Surah Yusuf verse 108:(O Mohamed) tell them plainly, “This is my Way! I invite you to Allah. I myself see my Way in full light, and my followers see it too. And Allah is absolutely free from defect, and I have nothing to do with those who invoke others with Allah.”

Allah is our witness that we are only trying to unite the Ummah, and He suffices as a witness. We take refuge in Allah from doing anything that will break the Ummah. We only wish to invite our brethren, who have moved away from the deen brought by the Messenger of Allah (saws), and have started invoking, worshipping, and bowing down in ‘sajdah’ to human beings and graves in the name of Islam, to understand and follow the clear guidance of the Holy Quran.

We bear witness that we are muslims, and as muslims, we do not need to belong to any of these self-invented names like Shias, Sunnis, Itna-asharis, Ismaelis, Dawoodi Bohras, etc. We are honored to be recognized by the name ‘muslims’, which has been given to the believers by Allah Himself in the Holy Quran.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah Hajj verse 78:Exert your utmost for the cause of Allah, as one should. He has chosen you for His service and has not laid on you any hardship in your deen. Therefore, be steadfast in the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah had called you ‘Muslims” before this, and has called you (by the same name) in this Quran also, so that the Messenger may be a witness in regard to you, and you may be witnesses in regard to the rest of mankind. Therefore, establish the ‘salaat’ and pay the ‘zakaat’, and hold fast to Allah. He is your ‘Maula’: what an excellent ‘Maula’ and what an excellent Helper!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

May Allah guide you and us all to the Straight Path of Islam.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
