Answer:

What sect are you?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your comment: are you an Ismaili are you are a branch of this sect?

Allah is our witness, we are neither Ismailis, nor Sunnis, nor Shias, nor Itna-Asharis, nor Bohras; we are muslims as commanded by Allah in the Glorious Quran. We follow the example of our beloved Prophet Mohamed (saws), and no one can claim that he was a Shia, or Sunni, or Ismaili, etc. He (saws), his noble family, his noble companions were all ‘muslims’ as commanded by Allah in the Holy Quran.

It is Allah who has termed the name ‘muslims’ for all the believers, and we should not substitute this name given by Allah Subhanah for any man-made name; if indeed we believe in Allah and the Last Day.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah Hajj verse 77-78:O you who have believed, do ‘rukooh’ (bow down) and do ‘sajdah’ (prostration), and worship your Lord Allah Alone, and do righteous deeds: it may be that you attain true success! Exert your utmost for the cause of Allah, as one should. He has chosen you for His service, and has not laid on you any hardship in your religion. Therefore, be steadfast in the religion of your father Abraham. Allah had named you ‘muslims’ before this, and has named you (muslims) in this Quran also, so that the Messenger may be a witness in regard to you, and you may be witnesses in regard to the rest of mankind.

Our one and only mission is to invite our brethren to read and understand the Holy Quran, and obey and follow its guidance. Unfortunately, what has happened in the muslim Ummah today, is that the believers have left the guidance of the Holy Quran, and have formed their own beliefs and rituals according to their sects, without any authority from Allah and His Messenger (saws).

Thus brother, our invitation to our brethren is to come back to the guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws) as commanded by Allah in the Holy Quran. Allah has given every individual a free will and the intelligence to determine and follow whatever Path he wants to attain salvation. Whoever follows the Path and Guidance shown by Allah and His Messenger (saws), will deserve Allah’s Mercy and reward. And whoever denies and rejects this Guidance, will deserve Allah’s Wrath and punishment. Thus we are fulfilling our duty to humbly and politely invite our brethren to the Siraat al Mustaqeem.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 29:Proclaim, “This (Quran) is the Truth from your Lord: now whosoever wills may accept it, and whosoever wills may reject it.” (As for those who reject it) We have prepared for such workers of iniquity a fire whose flames have encircled them. There, if they ask for water, they will be given a drink like the dregs of oil, which will burn their mouths! What an evil drink, and what an evil abode!

Thus brother, whatever questions are posed on this forum by our brethren, we will give our answers based on the Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws). There is neither a third source in Islam, nor is one needed!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
